Both male and female-specific versions of the Ballistic Threat Level IIIA NIJ-certified vests are available. These vests have undergone rigorous testing and have been certified according to the NIJ-0101.06 standard. The ballistic panels used in these vests have been thoroughly evaluated and approved by an NIJ-accredited test laboratory. It is important to ensure that the body armor meets the requirements specified in the Body Armor Test Protocol. By adhering to these protocols, the vests provide a high level of protection against ballistic threats.
Each vest comes with a 5 X 8 ICW IIIA AE Foam Encapsulated Trauma Plate. This plate provides additional protection in case of a traumatic impact. It is specifically designed to absorb and disperse the energy of a bullet or other potentially deadly projectiles. The plate is lightweight and doesn't impede movement or flexibility while wearing the vest. It's an essential component of any body armor system that prioritizes safety and security.
The Side opening model of the Carrier is a versatile body armor that features fully removable straps on the sides and shoulders. This carrier is designed to accommodate ballistic panels with flexible sizing for optimal coverage and durability, with its outer shell made out of a sturdy nylon ripstop material.
The Carrier comes with 360 degrees of Velcro pile around its waist and back, providing complete adjustability of its side straps. It also features a 6” x 8” front trauma plate pocket with a Velcro closure at the top, ensuring maximum protection for its wearer. To cater to different body types, the Carrier is available in both male and female-specific versions.
Shoulder straps on the Carrier are 2 ¾” wide, and come with rounded end taps for added comfort. Side straps also come in two widths, either 1.75” or 4”, giving users the flexibility to choose between a snug or looser fit.
