The need to use a full gas mask

We suggest using full face masks for safety purposes, even though we offer both gas masks with full face masks and half masks. Let me elaborate on the reasons behind this recommendation.

Gas masks are essential tools in preventing the inhalation of poisonous gases. There are two types of masks available: the half mask and the full face mask. The half mask only covers the nose and mouth, leaving the rest of the face and the eyes exposed. As a result, it is necessary to use goggles alongside the half mask to cover the eyes and other protective products for the facial skin. The full face mask, on the other hand, covers the entire face, including the nose, mouth and eyes. It provides a tight seal around the face, ensuring that there is no gap between the mask and the face. This tight seal reduces the chances of the inhalation of poisonous gas by protecting the nose, mouth, and eyes. As most poisonous gases have irritating effects on the skin and eyes, it remains essential to protect these parts of the body.

Using a full-face mask offers another advantage in terms of protection as it comes with a canister that delivers better safeguarding measures than a half-masked filter cartridge. The level of defense provided against toxic gases is higher, and a single thread connection allows for easy replacement of the canister which makes the interface more convenient.
